Politically Exposed Person

A family member of a politically exposed person is a person who is:

1. a) a spouse or a person equivalent to a spouse;
2. b) a child, or the child of the spouse or equivalent person, and their spouse or equivalent person;
3. c) a parent, grandparent, or grandchild;
4. d) a brother or sister.

A person closely associated with a politically exposed person is a natural person known to have business or other close relationships with a politically exposed person, or who is a shareholder or participant in the same commercial company as a politically exposed person, as well as a natural person who is the sole owner of a legal arrangement known to have been established for the benefit of a politically exposed person.
