A person closely associated with a politically exposed person is a natural person known to have business or other close relationships with a politically exposed person, or who is a shareholder or participant in the same commercial company as a politically exposed person, as well as a natural person who is the sole owner of a legal arrangement known to have been established for the benefit of a politically exposed person.
